Most everyone has heard or has seen of Medieval Times at one point in their life. If not just imagine the year is 1093 and you have been invited to be a noble guest of the royal family. You along with more than 1,000 other of the Lord's guests have been invited to enjoy the sport of a royal tournament. At Medieval Times you will step back nearly a millenium in time to feast on a four-course meal and watch in awe as the valiant warriors and stallions perform equestrian drills, you'll gaze as knights compete in daring tournament matches by jousting and with swords.
Medieval Times of Myrtle Beach SC is one of nine in North America as of 2006. It is a Spanish-owned company and the spectacle is based on real events in the family history of one of the founders. Tickets are $43.95 plus tax for adults and kids 12 and up and $27.95 plus tax for children up to 11years old, children ages 3 and under are admitted free. The one-price admission includes the show, dinner, and two rounds of drinks (adults 21yrs and older can order alcohol). Sales tax and gratuity are extra. Reservations suggested.
