It was announced today that Burroughs and Chapin Co. Inc will save a few of the rides and heirlooms that were favorites of the park. There will 9 rides from the park and other attractions from the park will move to Broadway at the Beach near the Carmike Cinemas. The area where the park will be will be called "Pavilion Nostalgia Park". It will serve as a park for people who want to ride some of the rides and also as a museum to remember what was the Pavilion. Below is a list of exactly what will found at the park.
Tea Cup ride, funnel cakes, motorcycle ride, dune buggy rides, pizza, long range basketball, kids pirate ship, boat ride, catepillar, memory lane and souvenir shop, Midway games ( milk can toss, bushel baskets, duck pond, spill the milk), 2,800 sq. ft. arcade, and a commisary where you will find munchies like hot dogs, popcorn, cotton candy, more sweets and beverages.
July 4th is the target date for the park to open but officials say that it could open sooner.
